Long River Studios opened in 1991 as a cooperative, offering space to a varied group of artists and crafters. Some are professionals in their medium; some are otherwise employed or retired; but all share a love of creativity. Our aim at Long River Studios is to show works that are as eclectic as possible while also offering a broad range of arts and crafts (and some etceteras!) in a wide price range. Our name was chosen from our great watery neighbor, The Connecticut, which means “long river” in Algonquin.
