Long River Studios opened in 1991 as a cooperative, offering space to a varied group of artists and crafters. Some are professionals in their medium, while others are employed or retired. They all share a common love of creativity. Our aim at Long River Studios is to show works that are as eclectic as possible while also offering a broad range of arts and crafts (and some etceteras!) in a wide price range. Our name was chosen from our great watery neighbor, the Connecticut, which means “beside the long tidal river” in Algonquin. The current partners, Dave and Lisa Celone, operate Long River Gallery & Gifts in concert with the many artists, crafters, and volunteer shop sitters who help the Gallery thrive. We all welcome your visit.
